Watsonville Community Hospital believes spiritual healing is an important component to a patient’s recovery from illness or injury. The hospital works closely with our local clergy to ensure that patients who wish to have spiritual services provided to them either by phone or in person may access a representative either from their local church or religious affiliation. The hospital also has a volunteer chaplain who is available to serve your spiritual needs. In accordance with the HIPAA standards, it is important that the patient notify the Admitting Department personnel of their request to have a visit by clergy during their stay and sign the appropriate document allowing the hospital to arrange for that service.
